As you probably already know, I’m a big fan of ethical skincare/makeup brands, which is why I love Lush so much. However, I wanted to look for some other places I could buy products that I felt good about purchasing. Lush can get expensive, and I didn’t want to have to settle for lesser quality products or buy from unethical brands.
And that’s where Frank Body came in! Before I found their site, I wanted to buy from glossier, but they don’t ship to Australia yet, so I’m still waiting on that! It’ll be a good day when they do.
For today’s post, I wanted to give you a bit of a mini haul so you can see what I bought. I’m not trying to brag in any way, also 🙂 Everything I bought was with my own savings.
The following products were bought as a pack, to be used one after the other. I tried all these products out the other day, and I’m so pleased with them!
They smelt great, were easy to apply, and really refreshed my skin. I swear I was glowing a little afterwards!
I’m used to using only water on my skin, not because it’s particularly sensitive, but just because I only really feel clean when I’ve got nothing on my skin, if you know what I mean. However, I can use these products daily, and I feel just fine!
This pack cost $50 Australian dollars xx
1. creamy face scrub / gentle
2. everyday face moisturiser / smooth
3. creamy face cleanser / clean
Next, I got the shimmer kit, also $50 Australian dollars.
I haven’t tried any of the products in this set yet, except for the illuminator. If the other two items are anywhere near as good, I’ll be more than pleased!
I did a simple makeup look the other day- a little mascara, some blush, nude lip gloss, and then decided to try a little of the illuminator.
Not only did I instantly look more awake after that, but I had a visible and natural looking contour!
The added sparkle certainly didn’t hurt either.
4. frank body illuminator
5. magic shimmer oil
6. shimmer scrub
As a little extra, I also got this lip tint, which doubles as a cheek tint. It cost $11 Australian dollars.
I’m not entirely sold on this product, to be honest. I’m a person who already has some natural pink colour my cheeks, so I’m not sure if this really added to it.. it was also a little sticky.
Not something I won’t use again, but I probably won’t purchase it again in the future.
7. lip tint / cherry bomb
What are some of your favourite makeup/ skincare brands? Ever bought from Frank Body before? What products do you swear by?
