Hello lovelies!
As most of you would know, I am working in collaboration with beautiful Australian owned skincare and beauty brand Felicitous. I’ve been drawn to their products from the moment I first set my eyes on their range and can confirm that they do all their good reviews justice. As a minimalist, I adore the simple, pretty packaging and no frills product. Felicitous do their part to tread lightly on the earth by leaving behind plastic and opting to use their signature glass bottles that are paraben, synthetic and cruelty free. Felicitous build on the idea that beauty starts with your base- what need is there to do yourself up if your complexion is naturally fresh and radiant? I will always support clean beauty brands for this reason.
Felicity means intense happiness. The felicitous slogan is simple happiness, pure felicity, which I find to be very fitting. The Felicitous range contains an array of skin boosting elements, which I’ll provide a rundown of after my review so you can get an accurate sense of how you’ll benefit. A healthier appearance is never out of reach!
Price point is something we all consider when looking to make a purchase. The Felicitous range is, among many other things, good value for money. There are various bundles available which make it possible to try out a range of products and give you a better idea of what to use together.
The Four Steps bundle containing the Soothing Toner, Hydrating Serum, Amazing Oil and Nourishing Cream has been designed to integrate seamlessly with your morning and night time skincare routines. They take you through the seasons, working simple wonders on slowly but surely transforming skin.
For a month now, I’ve been using the Amazing Oil and Hydrating Serum alongside my usual lightweight moisturiser and tea tree oil- I couldn’t speak more highly of it. There were almost immediate changes to my skin over the first few days and now being weeks in, I can tell this duo will be on permanent rotation. A pump of the Hydrating Serum and two drops of the Amazing oil is more than sufficient when it comes to Felicitous. If you ask me, there’s nothing worse than having to slather product all over your face and feel as if you need to cleanse again. Beyond that, you won’t need to repurchase for a while. Both products can be used on clean skin or added to your makeup if you wear it often.
Since incorporating the Oil and Serum into my routine, I have noticed my skin is smoother and less textured. Those pesky forehead bumps that are a nightmare to get rid of? Any trace of them is gone. The Oil and Serum soak into skin instantly and don’t just sit on the surface. Unlike many skincare brands that offer the same products, neither are heavy and pore clogging. They have a subtle scent and are lightweight, leaving you with a glow and soft rejuvenated look. All this without the mess. I was impressed by how hydrated and deeply moisturised my skin felt- this didn’t just last the night, but throughout the day and was built on every time I reapplied the product. To get this desired effect on my skin, I realised I only had to use the products every second or third night. My cheeks felt plumper and any facial water retention had gone down. My face looked and felt firmer, with more definition around the chin and neck area. I have rosy pink cheeks that come out when my skin is at its best, so I was very happy to note that I looked more coloured. I’d put this down to increased blood flow and circulation.
My skin is normal/combination and while I’ve never had acne save for the ocassional pimple, on and off I’ve had dermatitis around the chin and mouth area. I was told this was triggered by allergens, likely something in the skincare products I was using. I was reassured whilst trialling the two products by the fact that felicitous skincare is formulated for and kind to sensitive skin.
Kakadu Plum- Contains Vitamin C, which aids tissue repair and produces collagen, essential for skin elasticity. It is rich in antioxidants and naturally antibacterial.
Evening Primrose Oil- Treats acne and leaves skin soft and smooth. This works to balance your hormones.
Rose Geranium Oil- Works to repairs skin suffering from conditions like acne, dermatitis and eczema. Increases blood flow and therefore circulation. Highly antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.
Macadamia Oil- Controls skin’s natural oils while hydrating. Detoxes and aids in lessening the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Safflower Oil- Contains Omega 6 and 3, which are fatty acids essential to the skin and body. We gain these nutrients often through seafood and certain vegetables. This also promotes healthy and vibrant looking skin.
Rosehip Oil- Evens out skin tone and fades scars and skin discolouration. Tightens skin and brightens your complexion.
Jojoba Oil- Deeply moisturising, gentle on sensitive skin and reduces inflammation and the appearance of scars.
Natural Vitamin E- Heals skin scarring and provides a natural protective barrier. This vitamin helps to maintain and support healthy function of the body’s most critical workings- your vision and immune system, to name two.
White Tea Leaf extract- Rich in antioxidants and reduces acne and the skin’s reactivity to allergens.
Aloe Vera- Aids cell regeneration, calms and soothes skin and locks in moisture.
Marine Collagen- This works to heal wounds and increases collagen in skin.
Calendula Extract- Heals dry skin and works quickly to prevent premature ageing.
Hyaluronic Acid- Firms and reduces the look of ageing skin. Supports overall health.
Organic Honey- Clears pores, boosts skin’s natural glow and moisturises whilst eliminating bacteria.
oooo i’ve been needing some new skincare and these seem amazing!! thanks:)
They are incredible! If you’re looking for new skincare products, definitely give them a try x
Um this brand sound amazing! I love that they use glass packaging instead of plastic too. I used to need pretty harsh chemicals for my skin because its problematic af, but since its calming down I’m trying to switch to more natural alternatives. And they’re Australian too which means shopping locally! Great post lovely xx
Thanks gal! I couldn’t have said it better. The glass packaging is very strong and practically drop resistant. I love that you don’t have terrible chemical seeping into the products as you might with plastic!
I understand needing stronger products for troublesome skin- it can be hard to strike a balance! I’m glad that your skin has started to look and feel better 😊
Lots of love x
This definitely sounds amazing! The package is so nice as well!
