In today’s post I’ll be sharing with you my top picks for june and the month we’ve just entered. I’d say I’ve discovered some real gems this time around!
Enjoy the post and I hope you’ll feel inspired x
Featured above is the La Boheme set from ethically produced swimwear brand Peony Swimwear, alongside issue 96 of the Frankie Magazine and an array of beautiful phone cases by etsy creator Rianna Phillips.
La Boheme set:
I absolutely cannot get enough of vintage inspired florals. The La Boheme set was created sustainably with a classic silhouette and calm, neutral pattern. Swimwear is now being viewed as a core part of our wardrobes, especially in places like Australia, my home, where beach and coastal lifestyles are revered. Peony swimwear have a wide range of stockists meaning that you are more likely to get your perfect style and fit. Peony uses entirely recyclable fabrics and packages with biodegradable pouches. One of their best features, in my humble opinion, is the mix and match feature. All separates in the Peony swimwear collection are designed to be worn not just with their match, but with other pieces and prints. Peony swimwear is currently working on a plan to start a repair and reuse program where customers can return previous season pieces to be altered or turned into something new. I find the La Boheme set to be so chic- it’s minimalist and the fuller coverage provides more modesty than your average bikini.
Rianna Phillips cases:
Phone cases of all kinds, laptop cases, purses and wallets alike- you name it, Rianna Phillips creates it. I’m not one for anything bright or extravagant and this extends to phone cases- I previously had a cheap clear case but then decided to upgrade and have just invested in a faux leather personalised case! Gold initials against an ivory white leather look case just sounds so dreamy. Perhaps a slight tactile experience too! I’ve had personal experience buying from Rianna’s etsy store in the past and can’t commend her enough on her wonderful customer service. She is approachable, friendly and instantly makes you feel at ease. You can tell that she is passionate about design and creating a product that everyone will love.
Frankie Magazine, issue 96:
How could I not include the latest issue of Frankie magazine? I’ve adored and fawned over their pages for years now and have amassed quite the impressive collection of current and previous issues. This month’s magazine is a bumper issue and comes with extra goodies, so I figured it was worth another mention. I’m wondering at this point what celebrations will be underway once the 100th issue of the magazine is released. You can buy individual copies or sign up for an annual subscription and have the magazine delivered to your door bimonthly. Frankie Magazine, much like myself, write about art, craft, design, fashion, food, interiors, life, photography, music and travel. They have other beautiful publications released that include “look what we made,” a collection of maker stories and “spaces” which is chock full of interior inspiration and tells the story of some exceptionally innovative individuals.
