I hope you’re all having a beautiful and blessed start to your week. I’m so happy to be back with you again for another dose of inspiration and goodness! As an add on to this Weekly Inspiration segment, I’ve decided to do Monday chats where I update you on the events of the past week, share any plans for the new week and just chat casually and openly, as you do with friends. My aim for this blog is to build fulfilling and long lasting connections with all of you. I can do that so much better with more personal content. Anyhow, I hope this sounds good to you. As always, let me know what topics you’d like to see covered in future posts!
As a quick side note- how are you all managing writing, editing and scheduling posts with the block editor? I’m personally not ready for it and can’t wait until I figure out how to disable it!
My big news at the moment is that I’m booked in to attend a virtual tour of the Tafe, or college as they say in the States, where I’ll be attending next year. As most of you would know, I’m an aspiring interior designer and have wanted to leave school for a while now, so Tafe is the perfect fit for me. I’m currently in Year Ten and a year behind where I’d expected to be as I had some health mishaps over the years. My thinking was that I didn’t want to fall behind by moving to the next grade and not knowing the syllabus. Fair enough really! The Interior design course I’ll be taking is available in two locations near me and full time study is normal work hours, about 9 am to 4 pm, running three days a week. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday is the schedule I’m currently looking at, but is subject to change. As this Interior Design course isn’t a popular one, the application dates are later in the year- the first week of December. There are no prerequisites, but you do have to be 17 or older. December 2nd is my 17th birthday- talk about good timing!
I will be doing the Certificate 4 course running for six months, then the Diploma course running for 18 months. In other words, looks like I’m in it for the long haul!
What’s new with you friends? Sending lots of love and light your way xx
