Hello Lovelies!
Have you heard of the phrase ‘all in good time’ before? That’s basically divine timing summed up nice and neatly.
Consciously allowing the universe to create things for us and events to happen on terms other than our own can be the ultimate game changer. We need not force anything. All that’s important is we go with the flow and keep connected to ourselves and the belief systems we hold. Divine timing is about acknowledging that you are exactly where you need to be at any given moment, even when you’re at a time in your life that seems slow paced.
All things manifest at an exact time and in just the right way. Everything that we encounter along the path to their fulfilment serves us in a beautiful and profound way, even if we must endure challenge and struggle in order to acquire wisdom. Here are some rules for following and inviting Divine Timing into your life.
Master the art of patience:
In this case, it’s very important to accept that greater forces of good are at play constantly. They may manifest in ways that we don’t understand but will eventually come to. Patience is a skill like any other and can be learnt and developed. A lack of patience and inability to see the bigger picture will only hinder your personal development in the long run.
Doing and acting hurriedly is nothing more than an attempt to fast track into the future when in reality it is our current selves that need us to be present. It’s ironic how difficult it can be to ground ourselves in the moment we are experiencing- oftentimes we are stuck in past experiences or living for times to come when neither the person we were or will grow into actually benefits.
Get comfortable with discomfort:
When we learn how to become resilient, we learn how to embrace the beautifully broad spectrum of the human experience.
There is truly nothing to be gained within the confines of your comfort zone. Big, juicy and creative lives are led by those brave enough to open themselves to the world. To give and receive and all that lies in between. Consider a life where we did only what was familiar to us, what we are skilled at or enjoyed doing- we would experience no growth.
Researchers have determined that the human brain is primed for learning when the outcome of a situation is uncertain. Routines can provide us with ease and a sense of control but after a while they begin to dull our sensitivities. Remaining in our comfort zone enables us to tune out of much of our daily life- imagine all that we are truly missing out on.
How much do you remember of your everyday activities? Chances are you lack mindfulness and intentionality when making your morning cup of coffee or driving along a well travelled route. However, when you go out of your way to invite new experiences into your life, your mind creates brand new neural pathways that fuel your creative spark, enhance memory and become your life force energy.
Detach from the outcome and release the pressure to overthink:
Clarity will find you once you realise that you do not need all the answers to be okay. Practicing surrender makes you increasingly relaxed and open as well as more attractive in an energetic sense. It enables the best and most appropriate version of what you hope to manifest in your life become reality. You begin to realise that the timeline of your life is beyond your control in many ways and therefore deserves peace from your mind. Your dreams and plans do not always have to be first and forefront in your mind for them to matter to you.
Live in harmony:
There are two sides to everything- the good and the bad, the strong and the weak, black and white. Little is as it seems and as people we are a delicate balance of these forces. It is vital that we work in sync with our ultimate plan and maintain a strong belief in ourselves and the innate power we hold to improve our reality. We were created for and deserve to lead lives of great flow, balance and grace. Remember- step into the waters but don’t drown yourself in them. Cultivating a carefree, childlike spirit will lead us to our highest and most harmonious selves. Take care of your personal needs and responsibilities with a cheerful heart. Give off an air of peace and live effortlessly. Maintain a good sense of humour and refuse to take yourself too seriously. Choose to be the person you need in each and every moment.
Embrace faith and release doubt:
The single most significant act of empowerment is to learn what motivates us to make the choices we do. Every single choice we make contains the energy of either faith or fear, allowance or resistance. Don’t allow yourself to be paralysed by your the fear and uncertainty of your circumstances. Rise above as if you are a Phoenix emerging from the ashes. The voice in your head is only as loud as you allow it to be. Your mind is your home, not a breeding ground for negativity. Toe dipping outside of your safe space never gets things moving- you need to dive in head-on and fully immerse yourself in whatever it is that will ultimately bring you the most freedom. Make your commitment to growth today- a promise to yourself that you will be faithful, courageous, hopeful and willing to make mistakes and get back up again in the name of growth.
Follow your intuition:
The Universe responds to our inner yearnings by mysteriously bringing people into our life to answer our questions and help quell our conflicts. Everytime your follow your intuition, your personal vibration intensifies. This can be likened to turning up the volume on a stereo. The more your personal vibration is intensified, the more you will pull people into your life who carry messages for you. It is a universal law.
Trust your gut feeling as your guardian angel and always choose wisely the paths of your life. Find fulfilment in your inner guides and lean into all that is within. Believe in the magic of the entirety of your being and seek your internal truth, then move outwards to find external sources of wisdom.
Lovely tips, as always, Maryam! ♥
Thank you so much Wardah!
You’re welcome!
Really enjoyed this! 😄 I definitely agree about not forcing things and just going with the flow as I find that’s the only way I really move forward if I don’t stress it, once my mind is calm that is when change starts to happen (it’s just getting to that point that’s tricky 🙄😂). Sometimes you’ll get that feeling you mentioned where you just know you’re where you’re meant to be, whether it come from a sign or your gut and that can be incredible to experience, it’s worthwhile after the hardship to get there and oftentimes comes out of the blue through seemingly no difficulty at all 💫. Grateful to have your rules to follow in reaching that moment more and more! You have a very engaging tone when you write and I felt so motivated as I read along. Absolutely amazing post! 🙌✨💞
Thank you for being your sweet and encouraging self Elsie! This post is actually an older one that I reworked to be more relevant and sophisticated so I’m really happy you enjoyed it!
I have a habit of fixating on things and situations as I believe the more energy I expend trying to come up with a fix or running through it all in my head, the better off I’ll be. I’m still learning that’s not always the case, haha!
That moment of realisation when you recognise completely that you are where you’re meant to be is so freeing.
Oh, Maryam, what a lovely and insightful soul you are! I so, so, enjoyed this post. My mom is always telling me that nothing comes before it is time. And, as much as I’d love to believe that, sometimes I can’t help but feel myself becoming dissatisfied with the universe. Which is only due to my silly impatience. However, after reading through all your tips regarding letting go of overthinking (which will certainly be a difficult task for me) and living in harmony: I see how absolutely right you (and my mom!) are. It’s true that the universe will never give us what we are not ready for.
You’ve given me so much to think about. Perhaps I’ll even look into the art of manifesting once more. I tried the law of attraction process before but gave up on it. Then again, with our thoughts constantly in motion, I suppose we’re always manifesting things for ourselves and we don’t even know it!
Again, lovely post as always! xx
Thank you for such a sweet and uplifting comment Kaycee! This has absolutely made my day- It’s been a crazy week and I can’t wait for a nice lie in on Saturday and Sunday! I have a sort of part two to this post coming tomorrow- it’s about affirmations and will tie in nicely with all the topics I covered here. I totally understand what you mean about not always appreciating the timing of your life. Sometimes it can seem impossible to see the silver lining or figure out how and why things happen as they do! It’s a learning curve for sure. Learning to be more patient has taught me a lot. My horoscope app describes this knowing how to sit with unresolved desire without the constant need to act on it. I’ve always found that to be an interesting concept!
The Law of Attraction process can seem like a lot. To many people it’s just this fluffy idea but I’ve seen it’s magic work in my life. It’s quite incredible really! I’d say write these things down. Get really specific with what you want more and less of in your life!
Knowing how to sit with unresolved desire certainly sounds like a very intriguing idea! Surely something more of us can learn to do.
Thank you again for your lovely tips, Maryam. Wishing you a good rest of your week and an even lovelier weekend! xx
