Welcome to my updated wishlist for the months of October and November! Unlike my last post, I have not yet purchased any of these items but hope to soon. With the upcoming new year and starting college, I want to have a set organisational system in place. No frills, no fuss. Nothing too fancy. I also need to update my jeans drawer! Similar to most people, I have more tops than I do bottoms and end up wearing jeans with most casual outfits. However, I recently grew out of my older pairs and only have skinny jeans left now. Ideally, I’d like to add a pair of mom jeans to the collection as they have a looser, more relaxed fit. I’m absolutely mooning over the new season denim from Seed Heritage as well as some of their tops. Their latest palette has all those gorgeous earthy shades of olive, terracotta, cream, rust, brown and dusty pink. I’m in heaven!

Pictured here is the Frankie Press Diary and Calendar bundle, Seed Heritage Boho Stripe Blouse in Dusty Peach, Seed Heritage Core Wide Leg Jeans and Seed Heritage Button Detail Jeans in White.
Frankie Press Diary and Calendar bundle
I’ve been staying productive and on top of my work for years with the Frankie Diary and Calendar Bundle. I always purchase them together as they are cheaper this way. I find them to be much more fun and nifty than other planners and calendars! They feature an abundance of works from Australian and international artists and have uncomplicated, easy to fill out spreads. They are undeniably quirky and I love the freeform, handwritten font look throughout their paper products.
The Frankie Diary is themed from year to year but always includes staple goodies- think stickers, labels and tear out sections for notes and your latest to-do’s. It also comes with a small calendar that has national holidays premarked. I use the Frankie Diary as a journal for my thoughts. I like to recount the events of my day, tell stories within its pages and reflect on any interesting happenings. The Calendar is where I’ll make note of current assignments and events. Quick and easy! I live in an apartment at the moment and can’t hang my calendar up but I’d love to next year when I move house.
Seed Heritage Boho Stripe Blouse
How classy and chic are blouses? I can’t get past how lightweight this little number is! It’s formulated from a soft cotton/linen blind and features a yarn dyed stripe. The button back closure is just darling- the cutest little peekaboo gap. Then there’s the flutter sleeves! Oh my. This is the perfect spring top with how breathable and low maintenance it is. The best part is that linen doesn’t crinkle as much as other fabrics and won’t need an iron. I’d pair this blouse with light wash jeans and strappy sandals or chunky wedges. This blouse being part of a co-ord makes it so easy to mix and match with minimal clothing pieces needed. Just add dainty gold jewellery, a handbag in a neutral shade and you’re good to go!
Seed Heritage Core Wide Leg Jeans
I’ve always liked the look of faded blue denim over darker jeans. This pair is especially pretty with its structured, high waisted fit and midweight fabric. I love the casual look of jeans that end above the ankle and flare out slightly towards the bottom. They go perfectly with graphic tees- a tighter fitting top creates a balanced outfit! Another trick I’ve yet to employ is wearing a belt with jeans to elevate the look and create that perfect fit. My next jeans order will be decided between this pair and the white- which do you like best?
Seed Heritage Button Detail Jeans
I’m leaning toward purchasing this white pair as they look so fresh and effortless! The jeans are embellished with matte gold hardware, have functional pockets and that same wide leg look. They finish mid calf and are made of a mid weight, stretch denim fabrication. The button front closure replaces the need for a zip. I can think of so many gorgeous tonal outfits I could create with these jeans- I have a few ribbed tops in neutral shades that would pair perfectly- one long sleeve shirt in an light beige and the other in an oat colour.
Ahh all this stuff makes me happy! Haha, love some stripes! Side note; I got my mom jeans from Kmart and they’re such good quality if you’re looking a cheaper pair. I’ve always wanted a pair of white jeans too! That gold detailing is stunning 😍 also, that diary & calendar combo looks beautiful! Just googled it. Enjoy your new pieces when you get round to purchasing 😊 x
Such a sweetheart as always! Thank you for reading and the advice Chels. I appreciate the recommendation! I don’t think I have a local Kmart but they definitely have the best sales. Target are definitely comparable with price and quality so that’s another good go to!
I am quite in love with the jeans. I’ve always shopped seed heritage for my basics and for majority of my pieces in general! the price point isn’t too high when you consider cost per use. I’d say I only buy jeans every two years or so. That’s why I like to invest. The white pair are just gorgeous! It’d be something new for me because I have lots of blue denim. Never was a fan of black jeans but a white pair could be a nice new look. I’d just have to be careful where I sit! 🙈 I’ve always been aware that white jeans make you look bigger as well.. but I can put that aside, haha! Who cares. This is 2020 after all. We can wear trackpants and tights again and it classifies as proper clothing! No fashion rules here.
The diary and calendar combo are such a great deal! Definitely recommend Frankie Press for your new year materials x
No worries! No local Kmart?! Would love to swap one for a Target haha, we only have like one Target Furniture somewhere… I think.
Yup I agree, sometimes better to invest in a really good decent pair than going through a few cheap crappy ones. Inspired already for when I buy my next pair 👌🏼
I have the same thoughts with white jeans or pants and I think that’s what’s put me off them buying them previously. The pros, they always look so slimming and clean! Will keep an eye out on Saturday when I head to the shops. Definitely no fashion rules – trackpants all the way! Enjoy your dairy & calendar xx
My old area had both a Kmart and target and that was a small place. Come to think of it though, we have a big shopping centre in parramatta and it does have a Kmart on the bottom floor. There’s always options 🙂
How would you describe your fashion style? x
Totally! Mmm my fashion style would be casual comfortable. Slowly getting into more dressy pieces like dresses or a nice blouse with dress pants. Always love a good oversized tee and pair of jeans though 🙌🏼
Ooh that calendar and diary sounds amazing for productivity!
Yes indeed! I recommend them next time you’re in need of new materials x
So cute!! I love the jeans! #myfavoritestaple!😍
Oh yes, how pretty are they? 😍
Totally!
I love those faded white legged jeans!! They look so stylish ❤️❤️😍
Thank you Jocey! So pretty hey 🥰❤️
