I hope you’re all well my friends! Today’s post is exciting because I’ll be sharing a new find of mine with you all- Photowall. They are a Swedish born company offering luxury wallpapers, posters, framed prints and wall murals with a reasonable price tag attached. You are well and truly spoilt for choice when picking a print- there are pages upon pages of different designs- an expanse of ten thousand, in fact. However, if you’d prefer a personalised hanging wall print like mine, this is an option too. The process is simple and easy to follow. Feel free to upload a picture of your choice and then apply it to a product. To finish off, you’ll be instructed to pick a size for your print- I opted for sixty by eighty and am beyond pleased with the result of my choice. It’s truly the perfect fit. As a bonus, I no longer have to worry about the empty space above my desk. Hanging prints are a great option for smaller rooms as they are eye catching and make your space seem less boxy and enclosed. How classy does this portrait look encased in the oak frame?
My chosen print would cost around fourteen Australian dollars, eleven American dollars or eight British pounds. Yes, that’s right! If you’re looking for the perfect gift for a friend + family member or feel your room needs a refresh, there’s no better time than now to explore Photowall. The brainchild of brothers Niklas and Charlie Johansson, Photowall was born in two thousand and six. The pair had happened upon a gap in the market and took advantage of their findings. How could there be such a limited selection of personalised wall art online? Using their technical background and impassioned interest, they took the leap and began a new pursuit, printing wallpaper digitally. Despite their lack of previous experience, the brothers bought their very first digital printing press, vowing to fuse quality, creative design and customisation to bring consumers an exemplary service. Photowall is a well established company with a factory and offices near Stockholm, Sweden. They are founded in the philosophy that truly brilliant design requires recreation and the constant testing of new ideas. They are always on the lookout for new and upcoming designers, renowned brands and innovative illustrators for collections that are special and inspiring. They believe blank walls are giant canvases you can let loose on, experimenting with colour, shape, texture and more. Digital printing technology opens up a world of possibilities- you can create to your heart’s desire as long as you have an idea to work off of. Consider 3D printing- who could’ve imagined that? As a fully digital company, Photowall is well equipped to print orders with unique measurements. All orders are shipped free of cost and quickly to your desired location.
Beyond this, Photowall strive to minimise their footprint on mother nature through a multi faceted environmental approach. All production is to order, effectively eliminating wastage- stock is produced only as fast as orders flow through. There is a distinct connection between you, me, Photowall and their manufacturers. The printing ink used for wallpaper contains no solvent or hazardous chemicals. It is entirely biodegradable. Waste materials from this process are recycled by major swedish firm Hans Andersson Recycling. Reminds me of the famous author and the film Frozen! Each purchase at Photowall supports collaborative charity work undertaken by Photowall with Vi Agroforestry, a swedish development organisation. Between them, over five thousand trees are planted each year, all surrounding Lake Victoria in East Africa. They provide much needed shade, a place to rest and recuperate and cleaner air for the local people. Vi Agroforestry plants both trees and crops, returning natural fertility to ravaged, disrupted ecosystems and ensuring nutritionally balanced meals for the community. These trees improve the local climate, increase farmer yields and family income. They also improve access to water, firewood, lumber, animal fodder and fruit.

Thank you very much Keziah! How would you describe the style of your bedroom? <33
Oh, very… Artistic and just me. I’ve got lots of photos up (over 500ish… ?) as I love people and photography and I’ve got lots of nature pieces around, as I adore nature… 😊❤
That sounds quite blissful x
<3
Yesss Photowall is amazing; loved seeing you work with them too!! Lovely post!!
Thank you so much Zainab! Likewise- it was wonderful seeing your post in collaboration with Photowall. A lovely experience! x
Cool! It’s really chic! I love your corner too…
How kind! Thank you Janis. A beautiful bedroom is truly one of life’s simplest pleasures. My space is one that I’m happy to sleep and wake up in. That’s how it should always be! We must curate and create until we are content x
I have always wanted a corner growing up… my mom set it up for me but I was just too disorganized. I admire everyone who is able to keep their corner, neat and clean all the time. It is a dream 😀
Aw, I love the cream and pink color scheme! (That’s the colors for my room redo as well!😂)
I love that my personality is infused within this space but it’s also neutral and will allow me to transition into a different style if I so wish! How would you describe the vibe in your bedroom Makayla? x
Hmm … I’d say that the vibe is chic, calming, and so ME with my ‘passions’ (goals in written form, my obsessions with art, books, fitness, and music!) displayed in some way. Thanks for asking me! That’s a question I hadn’t thought much about!
I need this. Have two empty walls that I promised I will decorate… 2 years later they are still empty 🙈 Thanks for the post, its a sign, time to decorate my walls 😜
Ah yes, I do agree! It’s always nice to look at something pretty. What’s your style? Wall hangings, pictures, posters? What style would you say you follow? x
for me it’s always pictures. just love looking at them and thinking of that ‘great holiday’ or ‘fun night out’ I had. I just have to hang them up so I can look at my fun memories on daily basis 🙌 little positivity every day, right :)) 🥰
That is beautiful! Love your decor too!
Thank you so much Katherine! You’re very kind x
If a photowall could turn your life positive then I am for it!
