Hello lovelies, I’m Aria- a minimalist, intersectional feminist and eighteen year old lifestyle, wellness, travel and sustainable fashion blogger. In this space I talk about faith too- I identify with my spiritual side and believe in the Law of Attraction, enjoy harnessing the power of crystals and find myself surprised at the accuracy of tarot card readings I’ve received. My traditionalist side is curious about Christianity however.
My house is nestled in the Blue Mountain’s terrain of Wentworth Falls, New South Wales. I’ve lived here for a year and couldn’t have picked a better abode. Life has taken on a much slower pace and I find myself more present and aligned with nature. In today’s world, the best commitment we can make is to being where our feet are. I wake up to melodic bird song and enjoy forest walks, swimming and picnicking at our local lake. It wasn’t my intention to live rurally or off grid but when the opportunity presented, who was I to refuse?
Calling this small, cosy town home is such a privilege. I live up the road to the renowned Three Sisters tourist destination and can often be found hunting for quirky street art murals, visiting antique stores, thrifting or brunching at a gourmet cafe. I’m a savoury over sweet gal and do have a soft spot for the health food scene! I’m a first year student currently studying for a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration at Billy Blue College in Ultimo, Sydney City. This was the first and only Arts school I applied to. It exists as a sister college under Torrens University.
As they say though, variety is the spice of life. Our train station is a five minute drive away when I’m after a change of pace or to visit family and friends. My second home is Parramatta and I stay there a few days a week to be closer to college. The hustle and bustle in Sydney’s second largest metropolis reminds me that I’m a city girl at heart. My bedroom has these generously sized windows with sprawling views of tall buildings and skyscrapers- It awakens the daydreamer in me and I imagine myself strolling New York streets, hailing a yellow taxi cab and drinking morning coffee out on the fire escape.
I’m an avid fan of rocky road, cherry blossom season, peonies, indie music, carrot cake, vintage style icons and more. Eventually I see myself living in a quaint Victorian terrace in Newtown, my front porch complete with Parisian cafe seating and an abundance of greenery and plant life. I’ll have a gorgeous, chocolate brown, curly haired Cavoodle pup. If I wasn’t so invested in Interiors, I would’ve pursued a career in fashion design. I’d describe myself as a modern day Audrey Hepburn. I adore her classy, elegant mannerisms and keen eye for a perfectly balanced and universally flattering clothing silhouette. She was truly groundbreaking in her time.
I’m a dedicated, heart driven creative and visual storyteller pursuing a beautiful life while empowering people to do the same. I’ve mastered capturing magic in the mundane and wish for my work to speak to others, my vision to be clear. I strive to always walk in authenticity and originality, to keep faith over fear and root myself in intentionality. When I’m not writing, I pursue work as an influencer in the content creator field. I’ve been afforded collaboration opportunities with various clothing, fine jewellery, skincare, beauty, home decorating and wellness brands. A standout few include partnerships with Bloom and DiveThru, guided journaling and meditation apps and Make Muse, the all female led activism magazine.
