How about you release yourself from the pressure of needing to build an empire? To dominate an industry, to be number one in all your pursuits. What if you simply focused on creating a life of diversity, deep joy and fulfilment, a life that is generative and supportive? Why not channel your focus into a life that responds with energetic strength to your every command? What if you decided to do the necessary inner work and heal the parts of you that call out for more yet are never quenched, never satisfied, only further hungered. What if you redefined success and began to feel more empowered by effort and intention than an outcome? What if you decided that enough is enough? The present moment is where you hold power. It is very literally the gift. Why put off being happy in the here and now?

This is your life. You’re allowed to change your mind, change your heart, change your habits, change your feelings. You’re allowed to be a different person. To wake up one day with no desire to do the same things you’ve been doing all your life. To switch up what you’ve become accustomed to and drop your vices. You’re allowed to love who you wish and move on from people who don’t see your incredible worth. To let go without the need for explanation, without the weight and burden of regret. You’re allowed to make mistakes and learn from them- or not learn from them and experience everything all over again- though I don’t recommend that so much 🤪

Just sharing some night routine ideas 🌝 You could try aromatherapy, use a linen spray on your pillowcase, do some colouring, journal about your emotions and the day you’ve had + tomorrow’s plans and intentions, read a book, do some colouring, declutter your bedroom, have a spa evening and then change into your finest pyjamas, recall moments of gratitude during the day, light a candle, have a warm cup of tea or chai, do your skincare routine, meditate, take a bath with a bath bomb or bubbles, do your spiritual practice, pray, do a puzzle, cuddle a pet, do some breath work, enjoy intimacy, cool down your bedroom, dim the lights, listen to calming sleep music or nature sounds.

Things I pray for: Wisdom as a product of understanding, experience and sound judgement. Sometimes we need to spend more time in preparation.

Pick any qualities to work on developing in your own life and none will serve you quite as well as resilience and determination. It takes great self awareness and understanding to put your foot down and commit to moving in a certain direction, knowing that no person or situation can truly be in your way or halt your progress unless you let it.

Just because someone used to be an important part of your life doesn’t mean you should cling to the relationship when it begins to die out. You can miss someone without wanting them back necessarily. Your relationship was once beautiful and fulfilling but may not serve a purpose in this season of your life. At a certain point, no amount of watering or nurturing will bring it back to full bloom. The fact that it has deteriorated doesn’t mean that you’re incapable of meaningful connections.

The more you truly like the person you are and come to terms with the fact that you’ll only ever be you, the less pressure you’ll feel to fit in or be someone else’s ideal. Your energy is precious and shouldn’t be wasted on fixing or changing the image, reality or persona others associate you with. Your energy is too powerful to be wasted on making yourself small, impressing others, convincing them, correcting them or professing your worth when it falls on deaf ears.
